This Privacy Policy explains how we use permissions and handle data within the app.



Permissions We Use and Their Purpose


• android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO:

Required to capture audio session data for visualizations using the Visualizer API.

• android.permission.READ_MEDIA_AUDIO:

Accesses audio files stored on your device to allow playback. No data is collected or shared.

• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for Android < 13):

Allows access to media files on older Android versions.

• android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES:

Enables the app to access embedded album art and display it with your tracks.

• android.permission.INTERNET: 

Required to request and display ads within the app. It may also be used when making network requests. We do not collect or transmit personal user data ourselves.

• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:

Checks network availability.

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE:

Required for background audio playback and stable performance.

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK:

Ensures uninterrupted playback in the foreground.

• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS:

Allows playback notifications with controls like play/pause/next.

• android.permission.MEDIA_CONTENT_CONTROL:

Enables control via external media devices, like Bluetooth headsets or smart watches.

• android.permission.AUDIO_SETTINGS:

Used to access volume and EQ configuration.

• android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS:

Allows real-time adjustment of sound effects (EQ, bass boost, etc.).

• android.permission.VIBRATE:

Enables vibration feedback for user actions.

• android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED:

Allows playback state and settings to be restored when your device restarts.

• android.permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT:

Required to play audio and control media via Bluetooth devices.

• android.permission.BLUETOOTH / BLUETOOTH_ADMIN:

Ensures smooth Bluetooth connectivity and media control.

• android.permission.WAKE_LOCK:

Keeps the device awake during playback to prevent interruptions.

• android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER:

Allows the app to apply album art as wallpaper, if the user chooses to.

• android.permission.REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS:

Lets the app request exemption from battery optimizations for uninterrupted playback. This is user-controlled.

• android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS:

Permits audio settings customization if granted by the user.

• android.permission.READ_SETTINGS:

Reads system settings relevant to audio playback optimization.

• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID:

Used for ad personalization if ads are enabled. No personally identifiable information is collected by us.



Data Handling & Privacy

We do not collect, store, or share personal information.

All media remains on your device and is used locally for playback.

No audio content or metadata is transmitted to any server.

No third-party analytics or tracking services are integrated into Music Player.

The app functions fully offline.

We may occasionally update this policy. All changes will be clearly reflected in-app and on our website.
